How do I find vendors near me?

Open the live map — on the web or in the app. Vendors appear the moment they go live, and pins move when the truck does. Follow a vendor in the app and you'll get a push notification whenever they fire up nearby.

How do ordering and pickup work?

Order ahead from a live vendor's menu and pay in the app — payments are processed by Stripe, so your card details never touch our servers. Track your order's status in real time, then skip the line: show the 4-digit code on your order screen at the window. Every order is in-person pickup; YumScout doesn't prepare or deliver food.

How do refunds work?

Refunds go through the vendor, and YumScout mediates when you need us to:

• If the vendor declines your order — or doesn't accept it within 10 minutes — you're refunded in full automatically.
• You can cancel for a full refund any time before the vendor accepts. After that, cancellation is up to the vendor.
• Something wrong with your food? Start at the window — the vendor can refund your order for up to 7 days after pickup, and most fixes happen right there.
• Can't sort it out with the vendor? Email support@yumscout.app with your order code and we'll step in.

Refunds usually land back on your card in 5–10 business days.

How do vendors join YumScout?

Apply from the app — tap Sell on YumScout on the Profile tab — or become a vendor on the web. Once you're verified, it's $20/month for your live pin on the map plus a 7% flat platform fee on pickup orders — not the 15–30% delivery apps take. Your truck, your prices, your customers.

How do I delete my account?

In the app, open the Profile tab and tap Delete account. This permanently deletes your account and personal data. If you're having trouble, email support@yumscout.app and we'll help.
